Celebrating National Registrars Day 2025

The 1st of July marks a significant date in the calendar for local government teams across the country.

It commemorates the beginning of the civil registration service in 1837—and has since grown into a day of national appreciation for the registrars who play a vital role in our lives.

With this in mind—to every registrar who welcomes new life, unites couples, celebrates new citizens, and guides families through loss—we’d like to say a huge thank you.

You’re there when it matters most, offering care, professionalism and compassion. The way you support people shapes how those deeply personal moments are experienced and remembered.

We appreciate you today and every day!
