This year’s Annual Learning and Development Event, hosted by the Local Authority Registration and Coroner Services Association (LARCSA), was another resounding success.
It was a pleasure reconnecting with existing partners and meeting so many new faces from across the sector.
What stood out most was the clear appetite among local authorities to embrace next-generation booking solutions, systems built to challenge the status quo and deliver real, measurable transformation.
Events like these are invaluable. They give us the chance to listen, learn, and gather insights that directly shape our product roadmap. Every conversation helps us refine our platform to deliver greater value, flexibility, and control to the teams supporting life’s key moments.
A consistent theme that came through time and again was the growing demand for innovation and adaptability in the statutory appointment and ceremony booking space. Authorities told us they need a modern, technically advanced system. One that can handle complex, service-specific business rules, automate routine tasks and workflows, deliver an exceptional self-service user experience, and evolve around their needs rather than forcing them to work within the limits of rigid, outdated software.
For too long, registration services have been held back by legacy systems that couldn’t keep pace with their ambitions. But that’s changing. The excitement and optimism we felt from attendees confirmed it: councils are ready for a new era of flexibility, control, and innovation—and our latest product is leading that shift.
